Education & Safety
This section is a dedicated forum for education and safety for singlehanded/shorthanded sailing. The mission statement and purpose of the GLSS states that "our sporting event is to encourage development of suitable techniques, equipment, supplies and gear for shorthanded passage under sail."
This page will feature articles and excerpts written by members and others specifically focusing on EDUCATION and SAFETY for shorthanded sailing. Many of these features will be experiences shared by our members during Solo Mackinac Challenges and other offshore passages.
